Great Tastes at Humphrey’s

At Humphrey’s Thorn, you can enjoy great Burgundian foods whilst taking in the breathtaking view of the marina and the water. We gladly welcome you at our lovely restaurant or on the beautiful terrace for a cup of coffee with Limburg “Vlaai”, a delicious lunch, or an extensive dinner.

The restaurant is open every day between 10:00 and 22:00. The kitchen closes at 21:00.

Next to the restaurant, you can find Humphrey’s Café & Take Away. Humphrey’s Café & Take Away is open for some artisanal pizza, refreshing ice cream or a tasty snack to either take away or eat at the café. You can also order and takeaway delicious sushi!

Humphrey's Café & Take Away is open daily from 15:00 - 21:00.

Swimming

A real holiday includes swimming and having fun in the water! With the day beach at MRT Beach and the brand new indoor swimming pool MRT Pool, Parc Maasresidence Thorn can be enjoyed all year round by every age group. You can splash into the water from the large slide, swim a few laps, enjoy the spacious whirlpool while the kids play in the spacious children's pool.

The perfect location to recharge your energies during or after a meeting. Parc Maasresidence Thorn offers meeting rooms where you will be completely unburdened. You schedule the meeting you want, from a morning or afternoon meeting to longer business conferences. Combine these with lunch, dinner, an overnight stay or one of our packages. There are various routes which take you from Parc Maasresidence Thorn past picturesque villages and boundless green nature. You don't have a bicycle or mountain bike on hand during your holiday? No problem! You can simply rent these from the front desk. You can even ask for a child seat for your bicycle, everything is possible: from all types of bikes with which you can cruise through the Central Limburgian landscape.

What could be better than boarding your boat right after stepping out of a holiday home? The beautifully landscaped marina, located next to the park’s attractive boulevard has spacious moorings with jetties which are easy to reach. You can moor your boat, rent a sloop at the marina and set out to discover the beautiful surroundings from the water!

Dogs are very welcome at the park and can enjoy themselves in the natural environment. It's not a coincidence that our park mascot, 'Happy Benny', is a dog. You can walk straight into the palm of nature from your accommodation and there are dispensers with bags and trash cans available in the park.

Bowling

The perfect game for the entire family; Bowling is dynamic and exciting right up until the last seconds of every round. Do you know how to create the perfect angle and hit all of the pins? The bowling alley has four lanes and is located in one of the park's central buildings, right above the restaurant. After booking and registering at the reception, you can choose bowling shoes in your size.

Sloop Rental

Would you like to discover the area right from the water? At Parc Maasresidence Thorn you can easily rent a sloop from the front desk. You don’t even need a license. The beautiful sloops are waiting for you in the marina, on the park’s boulevard and opposite the central facilities. Act quickly, because they are extremely popular.

Special options for children

Children will never be bored at Parc Maasresidence Thorn. There are many facilities and activities for children of all ages in the accommodations and all around the park. From bowling and swimming to the Happy Benny Children’s Club. Happy Benny is our park mascot and undoubtedly the greatest friend of kids. Together with the Children’s Club animator team, Happy Benny provides a packed and rich program of activities.

Would you like to enjoy the beauty of nature on the water in perfect peace? Do it in style on our pedal boats for a maximum of four people. It’s easy to grasp and suitable for all ages. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a great time with a group. Find the pedal boats in the marina and glide across the water to MRT Beach. You can rent the boats at the front desk, complete with life jackets.

Terraces

With such a view across the water, it is not surprising that there are several terraces in the park. Centrally located on the water, opposite the marina, a beautiful terrace serves tasty dishes, delicious cocktails, refreshing beers, and great wines. The indoor pool has a lovely outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the sun during good weather while the children have fun in the pool.

At Parc Maasresidence Thorn you can enjoy the surroundings, MRT Beach, and the central facilities in and around the park. There is plenty to do for children of all ages at Parc Maasresidence Thorn.

Even in bad weather, there are fun indoor activities, such as the indoor swimming pool with a large slide, the bowling alley, and the Kids Club with our very own Happy Benny mascot.

The front desk is the point of contact for all park guests. You will find the spacious reception area in the center of the park in one of the central buildings. At our multilingual front desk you can obtain detailed information about all facilities or activities in the vicinity of the park. You can also rent bicycles, sloops and more.

Recra Mini Market

Whether you're looking for a quick snack or ingredients for an extensive dinner, you can find everything at the Recra Mini Market. The shelves are stocked with both durable goods as well as fresh produce and bread. Furthermore, you can find a range of holiday must-haves, such as games, a good book, or swim gear.

The Recra Mini Market is open daily from 8.00 am.

The opening hours may vary depending on seasonality. The current opening hours are visible at the entrance of the Recra mini market.

SUP Board Rental

The Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) has quickly become a very popular activity on the Maasplassen. From the marina, you can easily get on a SUP board to explore the area from the water. One with nature but active and relaxed at the same time! The SUP boards with paddles are located in the marina of the park and can be rented via at MRT Beach.

On adventure with a SUP Bike. That is possible every day at Parc Maasresidence Thorn. Book your SUP Bike easily online, when and as long as you want. Cruise on the beautiful Maasplassen and make a pit stop in nature or at one of the trendy beach clubs.

A new, super relaxed water adventure. You cruise over the water with the most recent innovation in water sports. An SUP & a bike combined into an aerodynamic and stable "water speed bike", where you will have instant fun. Also ideal for groups or how about a SUB Bike Picnic Tour?

eFoil

The eFoil boards are equipped with a long fin and a powerful electric motor, with which you can fly endlessly over the water without the need of wind or waves. eFoiling is easy to learn on MRT Beach! There is a special E-Flow team on hand, you can rent SUP and E-SUP boards from them in addition to getting eFoil lessons and going to workshops.

EV-charging stations

4 EV-charging stations may be found in the general parking lot. Each station is fitted with two sockets, sharing 32kW between them. The charging stations may be accessed via the Mobility Plus app, and soon they will include a QR code too. Depending on the type of battery, the charging station can fully charge your car from 0 to 100 percent in 4 to 8 hours.
